Reading List: Vintage Sewing Books from Archive.org

If you’ve never visited the Internet Archive (archive.org), you should.  Now.  The Internet Archive is an online library with millions of texts, images, videos and audio files, most of which are public domain/out of copyright.

A recent search of sewing books brought up some pretty interesting results…

Flipping through these books really shows that the way people sewed a century ago isn’t all that different from the way we do it today, even if there are more gadgets and gizmos (and blogs) around to help make it easier!
